Laser Engraved Coffee Wood Dog Chews With Your Own Logo
What a laser logo on a coffee wood chew looks like, what goes with it, and what to send us to start. For Amazon sellers building their own brand. Published October 26, 2026.
Why We Engrave the Wood Instead of Labeling It
A dog holds a chew in its mouth, licks it and gnaws on it. A sticker on the chew gets wet and comes off fast. The glue is also a second material on a product you sell as one ingredient.
A laser works differently. It lightly burns a thin layer on the surface of the wood into the shape of your logo. Nothing is added to the chew. After engraving we do not oil, wax or coat it. What leaves our workshop is the same piece of coffee wood, now carrying your mark.
Where the Logo Fits on the Chew
A coffee wood chew is round and has natural grain. It is not a flat board. The smaller the size, the narrower the surface you engrave on. An XS chew is only 1.5 to 2 cm across, while an XXL is 5.5 to 8 cm. A simple logo with clear lines and little small text works best.
Each chew is natural wood, so grain and knots sit in a different place on every piece. The same logo file will look a little different from chew to chew. That is worth telling your customers.
| Size | Length | Diameter | Weight per piece | Dog weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 10–11 cm | 1.5–2 cm | 23–30 g | Up to 3 kg |
| S | 13–14 cm | 2–2.5 cm | 35–45 g | 3–5 kg |
| M | 17–18 cm | 2.5–3.5 cm | 90–110 g | 5–8 kg |
| L | 18–19 cm | 3.5–4.5 cm | 120–180 g | 8–12 kg |
| XL | 20–21 cm | 4.5–5.5 cm | 230–400 g | 12–20 kg |
| XXL | 22–23 cm | 5.5–8 cm | 325–600 g | 20 kg and up |
Sizes are natural and vary slightly piece to piece.
The Box and Labels That Go With It
A logo on the wood is one part of a private label chew. We can also make kraft or ivory packaging from your design, and print and apply the barcodes and labels you send us. If you sell on Amazon, you create the barcodes and we print and apply them. We pack cartons to your spec and ship to the Amazon warehouse address you give us.
Engraving, printing and set packing are quoted separately. Our sales team gives you the cost after seeing your files.
Before engraving, the wood is dried below 14% moisture at our workshop. After engraving, each chew is vacuum-sealed to hold that moisture level during the trip by sea.
How Long It Takes
For plain chews without a logo, counted from order confirmation and not including samples or shipping, we work with these times. 50 to 200 pieces take about 8 to 10 days. 200 to 1,000 pieces take about 10 to 15 days. 1,000 to 5,000 pieces take about 25 to 27 days. One 20ft container takes about 30 to 45 days. Our sales team confirms the schedule for each order.
For chews with your logo and your own packaging, we do not give a number in advance. The time depends on your design, so we look at your logo and packaging files first and then give you a schedule. If you have a selling date in mind, see our guide on when to order for a February 2027 promotion.
What to Send Us to Start
- Your logo file. A vector file is best if you have one.
- Your expected first order quantity, split by size.
- Whether you want a kraft box, an ivory box, or only a bag.
- Where you sell (Amazon FBA, a shop, wholesale), so we know which labels to apply.
